Composition
1 g cream contains 10 mg bifonazole in an inert cream base (O.W.)
Indications
Mycoses of the skin caused by dermatophytes, moulds and other fungi such as malassezia furtur and infecions due to Corynebacteriun minutissimum.
Infections of this type may be e.g. mycoses affecting feet and hands (athlete\'s foot, tinea manuum), mycoses involving skin folds (tinea corporis, tinea inguinallis), pityriasis versicolor, erythrasma.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to bifonazole.
Dosage and application
Unless otherwise prescribed, Mycospor cream solution once daily, at best before retiring.
Generally, the duration of treatment is:
- mycoses of the foot, interdigital mycoses (mycoses between the toes) 3 weeks
- mycoses affecting body, hands and skin folds 2-3 weeks
- pityriasis versicolor, erythrasma 2 weeks
